Why this blog?
I love poetry, and I love to talk about it. If I don't start blogging about it, I will continue scribbling solipsistically about it in a notebook, which is of no use to anyone. From now on, I intend to commend my rants, raves, fisks, reviews and theories to this blog. Thanks for lighting the way, Sheila!

Ironic, isn't it? The first post on my blog thanks you for starting me off. It's a great circle -- which hopefully will never end. Keep inspiring me, and I'll try to do the same for you. :)
No problem.
Count me among the inspired. I first discovered St Blog's back in the heady days of spring 2005, the time of JP2's demise, of the millions of people in Rome waiting to see his casket, of the Conclave, of the Benedict suprise. Good times, no? I remember checking like 20 blogs every morning. Now, my routine has dwindled down to three or four blogs -- Basiame and Enchiridion, always among them. Despite the slightly ridiculous quarrels (sometimes started by me -- well, most times) about subrubs and distributism, it's always good to read from people who love literature and Jeeeezusss as much as I do.
Perhaps the Good Lord will arrange for our paths to cross one day.
yoo... informative ..
